What kind of insulation do you offer?
We offer premium cellulose, spray-on polyurethane foam, and fiberglass insulation. While fiberglass is the most commonly known insulation, premium cellulose and spray-on foam offer higher energy savings and a quicker return on your investment.
What does "R-Value" mean?
The "R" in R-value stands for a material's resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater insulating value. Loose-fill cellulose has an R-value of 3.8 per inch, while foam can have an R-value of up to 7.0 per inch.
What is cellulose insulation?
While different types of cellulose have been used to insulate building structures for centuries, modern cellulose is made from recycled content and newspaper.
Cellulose insulation can be installed in several ways. Loose-fill cellulose can be blown into your home's attic and retrofit to dense pack your existing wall cavities. In new construction, cellulose is sprayed into an open wall cavity just prior to drywall installation.
What are your payment terms?
We typically do not require a down payment and only accept payment upon completion and customer satisfaction.
Can I use foam to insulate my walls?
Yes and no. While spray foam can be easily installed into a new home's open wall cavities and an existing home's crawlspace and attic to solve issues with ice daming, heat loss, and sound reduction, Ritsko's Insulation does not retrofit sidewalls with foam. We recommend using cellulose on sidewalls.
Ritsko Insulation provides service to areas from Sandusky to the Pennsylvania border.

Nu-Wool Premium Cellulose Insulation, an environmentally friendly and "green" energy-saving material, can help save homeowners up to 40% on their energy bills.
Installed in both attics and walls of homes, Nu-Wool has a high R-Value (3.8 R per inch), offers superior thermal and air-infiltration properties, resists mold growth and even dramatically reduces noise transmission through floors and walls.1
Polyurethane Spray-On Foam
Polyurethane spray-on foam offers the highest level of insulation performance. Up to 50% more efficient than traditional fiberglass, when applied, foam expands 30-60 times it's original volume.
Foam virtually eliminates air infiltration. Not only can it be used in new residential and commerial buildings, it can even help solve problematic areas in your existing home, and in some instances, on your foundation walls.
