What kind of insulation do you offer?
We offer premium cellulose and fiberglass insulation. While fiberglass is the most commonly known insulation, cellulose insulation is 40% more efficient and offers higher energy savings, providing you a quicker return on your investment.
What does "R-Value" mean?
The "R" in R-value stands for a material's resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater insulating value. Loose-fill cellulose has an R-value of 3.8 per inch, while foam can have an R-value of up to 7.0 per inch.
What is cellulose insulation?
While different types of cellulose have been used to insulate building structures for centuries, modern cellulose is made from recycled content and newspaper.
Cellulose insulation can be installed in several ways. Loose-fill cellulose can be blown into your home's attic and retrofit to dense pack your existing wall cavities. In new construction, cellulose is sprayed into an open wall cavity just prior to drywall installation.
What are your payment terms?
We typically do not require a down payment and only accept payment upon completion and customer satisfaction.
Can I use foam to insulate my walls?
Yes and no. While spray foam can be easily installed into a new home's open wall cavities and an existing home's crawlspace and attic to solve issues with ice daming, heat loss, and sound reduction, Ritsko's Insulation does not retrofit sidewalls with foam. We recommend using cellulose on sidewalls.
